Tahoe trip 2010

The first trip of the new year----Tahoe. The 1st night at Tahoe, the sky was so pretty when it was not snowing or blowing the wind. The lake was so Christmas white when we took Gondola up to the hill.

Kristina and Brittany had 2 full days to ski. They had so much fun skiing that they said they were sweating.

Christmas 2009

For Christmas dinner, Sister Lu drove grandma to our place.

On Christmas morning, Kristina and Brittany tried to open their Christmas surprises. Every year they try to shake them, smell them or weigh them. I always try to surprise them at least one or two presents to drive them nuts.

The one on the right was Kristina's pet hamster named Neils Bohr (RIP during winter 2009), and the other one was her friend's pet hamster named Matilda.

During the 2009 summer break, Kristina brought them back home. We got Matilda out to play with, but his only interest was to visit Neils.

During the summer of 2009, we have some nice and juicy peaches from our backyard fruit trees. The squirrel wants a share with the size as big as his/her head. I guess it is fair IF he/she takes a small one and leaves the bigger one for us.
